Sure is easy to forget to post on this blog. Can't believe a week has flown by since I was last here.

The thunder in the last 12 hours really makes our favorite canine shudder & shake. Here are 2 pix.....Roxie on the left and Gracie & Roxie on the right. Gracie is Roxie's daughter and lives next door.

The loops are gold washed brass & they make wonderful colors in different lights.
Wow....sure did enjoy the Art Journaling class last night.
It is refreshing to be in the presence of such creative and energetic people.
I learned a lot.....did mostly art stuff, not word journaling yet. Played with art paper & markers & water....make our own background paper for a journal entry. Really Cool. Signed up for the next 3 classes.

Good morning. Ah, the cuppa' joe!
I an having a new adventure tonight. I've registered for an Art Journaling class. No experience needed and must bring a journal & some fine tip markers & some doo-dads for a collage. I am excited about the collage part, but scared of the journaling part.
Will share my enthusiasm (or lack thereof) later on. If I sign up for the next 3 classes, it'll be considered a success.
Today will find me unpacking a few more boxes from the move (6 months ago) & posting A LOT of new stuff in my Etsy shop.

A brand new week ahead! Lots of plans for beading!
I have so many new beads that I found at the bead shows in the last 2-3 weeks. Some are already on the Etsy shop and many more are waiting for a mug shot & their chance to be profiled in the retail world.
Here's some recycled glass beads from Ghana, Africa. They are created from scrap glass. I absolutely love the sea blue color. It reminds me of the inspirational colors I see on my teaching cruises.....but that's another story, er another Blog.
Today will be spent on the Hopkins campus with one of my clients. It's end of fiscal year and time to get into the books.
I feel so refreshed this morning and so full of ambition and vigor.

Saturday the 7th.....and a very hot day!
Ventured out to the Havre de Grace Farmer's Market this morning. Love to get the fresh veggies: today is it corn, patty pan squash, yellow summer squash; candy onions. The fruits include blueberries and blackberries.
And I could not forget the sweets: a small custard pie from Goll's bakery; peach tarts and cupcakes from local bakers.
We will eat very well for the next few days.
I plan to stay in the rest of the day and post new inventory on my Etsy shop. There were 3 beads shows in the last 2 weeks and I have plenty to keep me at the computer for hours.

Well, World, it's the end of a day already.
I did get some bead supply work done. The Etsy site needs serious tweaking since Admin added a new feature. It means I have to adjust each item & with over 850 choices on sale, it'll take a bit of time.
I just finished watching "As Good As It Gets"....one of my favorite feel-good films.
An early Happy 4th of July to everyone. Keep safe and keep cool.

Good Morning and Happy July 3rd, 2012.
I hope this is the beginning of a new adventure for me.....a Blog.
It will be a challenge to learn how to manage the blog: Bobbi*Roberta. The world of blogdom is very new to me. I tried to start one 4 years ago, but got sidetracked with Life. This time, I will try to take you all along with me as I travel Life. It's a real roller-coaster.
